The Director of Design Management is a critical role within the City Design Integration team at NEOM The LINE, reporting directly to the Executive Director of City Design Integration. This role is focused on overseeing the design work carried out by the City Asset Design Architect in relation to the city public open space and primary circulation. You’ll ensure that these essential elements are designed to the client’s requirements whilst enabling the overall performance of the city. What You'll Do: Lead the management of design activities for public realm ensuring it meets the requirements of the project. Serve as the main point of contact between the City Design Integration team and the Architectural Consultant responsible for these key assets. Oversee the Architectural Consultant’s work, providing guidance, feedback, and direction to ensure that all design deliverables align with NEOM The LINE’s requirements and standards. Collaborate with other design teams, including Urban Realm, Infrastructure Engineer, Anchor Asset and Community designers, to integrate the design of public realm seamlessly into the broader cityscape. Manage the design process to completion, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Work closely with the Executive Director of City Design Integration and other senior leaders to develop and implement strategies for the design of city public realm that contribute to the overall vision of NEOM The LINE. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any design challenges, ensuring that the design of city public realm is cohesive and aligned with the project’s broader objectives. Foster a collaborative and creative working environment   What We’re Looking For: 25+ Extensive experience in urban planning/architecture, with a focus on large-scale urban development and public spaces. Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven ability to oversee complex design projects and coordinate with multiple stakeholders. Deep understanding of architectural design principles, particularly in the context of critical city assets. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with architectural consultants, design teams, and senior leadership. A strategic thinker with a strong eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality design that meets the project’s vision and standards. Experience in managing design processes, timelines, and budgets, with a focus on achieving project goals within constraints. A collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The Senior Manager will oversee the full spectrum of architecture design for different asset types relating to THE LINE. The Senior Manager will work with and manage an architectural design team for THE LINE module. The Senior Manager will be responsible for organizing, coordinating and ensuring the design work is executed on their allocated project. Acts as a key member driving the Quality Assurance focus with regular interaction with the Director of Architecture, Executive Director, and the Proponent’s team. JASRA PMC are looking for Senior, BIM Manager required extensive experience in this field, combined with BIM knowledge, will determine best practice for BIM Implementation in complex Highrise buildings projects and selects the most efficient and economical manner in meeting the objectives.  The successful candidate applies advanced BIM and Digital Engineering techniques and procedures within a discipline and may serve as a technical consultant in an area of specialty for management or the client. Requirements Develop BIM specification(s) documentation and support integration with Tender(s) and Contract(s).  Develop, monitor, coordinate, and report on the development of Pre-and Post-appointment BIM Execution Plan, Task and Master Information Delivery Plan (TIDP and MIDP) for design delivery.  Manage, support, and validate Project design delivery e.g. modeling, detailing, scheduling, and extraction(s).  Develop the process, perform, measure, and ensure the highest quality for all BIM package submissions in accordance with local and intranational standards and project requirements during all Project stages.  Supervise and oversee the review, monitoring and reporting on the development of clash detection and resolution process and fully coordinated models with design leads.  Monitor and support the data collection process and validate models for Construction Operation Building Information Exchange (COBie) for the design stage data drop(s) as required.  Prepare validation reports for milestone BIM package submission  Plan, manage, and document workshops and meetings related to BIM and Digital Engineering activities.  Evaluate and manage the BIM related IT deployment (hardware and software) and provide hands-on BIM software training for Project(s).  Develop and maintain specific BIM software template files to assure compliance to standards.  Develop and enforce BIM documentation and workflow process standards.  Develop and automate routines in BIM to support standards, quality, and productivity.  Oversee the validation and export of model geometry and data to schedules for internal design and commercial activities.  Support the quality department conducting audits and record non-conformance(s).  Required Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree in engineering or information technology with 20 years’ experience in Design from a Civil Engineering/Infrastructure discipline background.  Minimum 10 years’ experience in BIM Implementation on Major Infrastructure Projects or Program.  Experience from a Consultant environment on high rise buildings and Infrastructure projects.  Proficient in a range of BIM authoring, scripting, design review, coordination, simulations, and collaboration applications and/or platforms e.g. Revit, Civil 3D, Subassembly Composer, Dynamo, Navisworks, Synchro, BIM 360, ProjectWise, applications of Model Information Specifications and Management etc.   Potential to perform in a lead capacity, excellent written and oral communications skills, and a familiarity of best BIM practices are required.  Must possess a thorough knowledge of current BIM Implementation practice and be able to properly select and apply all applicable BIM related software for use on all projects.
