Key Job Responsibilities Position: Team Leader - Retail Operations Location: Six Flags & AquArabia, Qiddiya City The role focuses primarily on daily retail operations, including responsibilities for games, photos, and rental operations. The position involves managing revenue, P&L performance, merchandise and inventory planning, supervisor development, training, and staffing. Job-Specific Duties: Supervise crew members, ensuring adherence to Guest First standards and correct operating procedures. Lead, motivate, and manage the store team to achieve targets. Build team spirit and motivate team members to excel. Plan staffing and scheduling needs to enhance productivity. Analyze sales trends to drive store revenue and per-capita growth. Interpret and manage store P&L and control operating expenses. Assist with budget preparation, merchandise planning, and forecasting. Execute retail functions such as inventory control, signage, layout planning, and visual merchandising. Enforce loss prevention measures and collaborate with Finance and Loss Prevention teams. Ensure compliance with all park and department policies. Initiate consistent disciplinary action when necessary. Maintain safety standards and goals. Perform various physical tasks, including lifting, transporting goods, and creating visual displays. Other Responsibilities: Report to the Retail Operations Assistant Manager. Carry out tasks as per the Assistant Manager’s discretion. Support park operations as needed. Requirements Experience 0-5 years of experience, preferably in senior supervisory or management roles. About the team Careem Grocery is on a mission to reinvent how people shop for their daily essentials. As an exciting new vertical within Careem (a startup within a startup), we’re in the early stages of building our product. We have plenty of interesting and fundamental challenges to solve to achieve our ambitious What you'll do Lead day-to-day inventory management activities including but not limited to Stock count, inventory adjustments, checks and investigations. Ensure seamless coordination across workstations to maintain flow and meet transfer order SLAs. Improve operational throughput by identifying bottlenecks and optimizing workflows. Manage and motivate a team of pickers, setting clear goals and expectations. Conduct shift planning, task allocation, and productivity management. Run onboarding and continuous training programs on SOPs, systems, and safety procedures. Build and maintain dashboards and trackers to monitor Inventory accuracy. Use data to drive continuous improvement, solve operational problems, and hit performance targets. Leverage system-controlled transactions to minimize deviations. Develop and uphold standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance. Monitor adherence to processes and identify areas for refinement and automation. Support rollouts of new operational initiatives and system changes. Enforce a safety-first culture through regular training, compliance checks, and risk mitigation practices. Maintain inventory accuracy through proper stock count check routines and plans. Investigate stock discrepancies, minimize shrinkage, and manage expired/damaged goods processes. What you'll need 4+ years of experience in Inventory management Familiarity with ERP, WMS systems and digital tools used in day-to-day operations. Experience with dashboarding tools, spreadsheets, and performance analysis. SQL proficiency is a strong plus for extracting and working with operational data. Solid understanding of warehouse best practices, including inventory control, slotting, and space optimization. Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented — you’re comfortable on the warehouse floor, store environment and thrive under pressure. Key Roles & Responsibilities Material Receipt & Verification Receive all incoming MEP and Civil materials, equipment, and consumables at site stores. Verify quantity, quality, and specifications against delivery notes, purchase orders, and approved material submittals. Check for damages, discrepancies, and expiry; raise inspection requests with QA/QC for approvals. Storage & Preservation Organize proper storage of materials with tagging, segregation, and protection as per manufacturer guidelines. Maintain safe storage conditions for sensitive MEP equipment (e.g., electrical panels, pumps, fire fighting equipment) and Civil materials (cement, steel, tiles, etc.). Ensure materials are preserved to avoid deterioration, moisture, or handling damage. Issuance & Inventory Control Issue materials to site teams only against approved requisitions and maintain proper records. Monitor consumption and maintain minimum stock levels to avoid shortages. Track tools, equipment, and consumables; maintain issue/return registers. Prevent misuse, pilferage, or wastage of materials. Documentation & ERP System Maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note), MIR (Material Inspection Report), and issuance records in line with company procedures. Update stock registers and ERP system (if applicable) on real-time base. Support project accounts in reconciliation of material consumption vs. budget. Coordination & Compliance Coordinate with Procurement, QA/QC, and Execution teams for timely material availability Comply with KSA customs, logistics, and site-specific regulations for material handling Support periodic stock audits and reconciliation with finance/commercial teams. Provide material status reports to Project Manager and Planning Engineer Safety & Housekeeping Ensure safe handling, lifting, and storage practices for heavy/fragile materials. Keep stores area clean, organized, and compliant with HSE regulations. Conduct toolbox talks for helpers/workers on safe material handling.
