Optical Transceiver Unit

It is a device that converts electrical signals ↔ optical signals. It is installed inside an SFP+ port on devices (for example, a switch, router, or telecommunications company's radio unit). Its function is to allow the device to transmit and receive data over fiber optic cables instead of copper cables. It supports a speed of 10 gigabits per second over long distances (typically approximately 10 km using Single-mode Fiber). - 📌 What happens when you connect it? 1.
