Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a talented Assistant Manager - Data Engineering to enhance our data capabilities and support our strategic goals. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead initiatives focused on building scalable data solutions and leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive data-driven decision making. Your expertise will be crucial in developing and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring high data integrity, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement advanced analytics and reporting solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain comprehensive data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) aligned with business needs. Collaborate with Data Science teams to identify future data requirements and support advanced analytics initiatives. Establish and implement processes and procedures to ensure high-quality service delivery and business continuity. Define and enforce data architecture standards, principles, and best practices to support organizational goals. Lead the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines, ETL processes, and integration frameworks. Work with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and build effective, scalable data solutions. Oversee data platform operations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. Implement robust data security, access controls, and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations. Continuously evaluate and integrate emerging technologies and tools to enhance data engineering practices. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of data platforms with enterprise applications and systems. Partner with the Data Governance & Quality division to embed governance standards across data platforms. Act as a subject-matter expert to provide technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders. optimization of cloud applications, and expertise in cloud security, virtualization, and migration strategies. Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years Experince as a Data Architect or Data Engineering Lead overseeing data design and architecture. In-depth understanding of database structure principles, data mining, and segmentation techniques. Certification in relevant technologies or architecture frameworks is a plus. Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and modern data engineering tools and frameworks. Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and orchestration tools. Solid understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security best practices.
