Key Responsibilities Design and implement safety protocols and programs. Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments. Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions. Provide training to employees and contractors on safety practices and regulations. Ensure compliance with safety legislation and industry standards. Analyze safety data to support continuous improvement efforts. Maintain comprehensive records and reports related to safety incidents. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health, Safety, or a related discipline. Minimum of 8 years of experience in a safety engineering role. In-depth understanding of safety regulations, procedures, and practices. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH are preferred.
