The BIM Senior Manager – Design Engineering is responsible for overseeing the BIM software implementation and management across various projects, ensuring standardization of processes, coordination and maintaining quality control. The BIM Senior Manager – Design Engineering will ensure the development of effective strategies for BIM management, coordination with both internal and external project team members, alignment with project schedule (including critical and strategic milestones). Key Accountabilities: ·       Provide all necessary BIM support, including software, hardware, network and troubleshooting ·       Manage BIM implementation plan across the lifecycle of the project, ensuring outcomes aligned to project objectives ·       Lead and support the use of digital technology within the Project team ·       Plan and oversee the execution of data management/BIM software activities in order to meet project specific needs, in alignment with applicable standards. ·       Strategic risk management for the area they are responsible for. ·       Managing resources effectively including resources allocation, and procurement. Key Roles & Responsibilities Material Receipt & Verification Receive all incoming MEP and Civil materials, equipment, and consumables at site stores. Verify quantity, quality, and specifications against delivery notes, purchase orders, and approved material submittals. Check for damages, discrepancies, and expiry; raise inspection requests with QA/QC for approvals. Storage & Preservation Organize proper storage of materials with tagging, segregation, and protection as per manufacturer guidelines. Maintain safe storage conditions for sensitive MEP equipment (e.g., electrical panels, pumps, fire fighting equipment) and Civil materials (cement, steel, tiles, etc.). Ensure materials are preserved to avoid deterioration, moisture, or handling damage. Issuance & Inventory Control Issue materials to site teams only against approved requisitions and maintain proper records. Monitor consumption and maintain minimum stock levels to avoid shortages. Track tools, equipment, and consumables; maintain issue/return registers. Prevent misuse, pilferage, or wastage of materials. Documentation & ERP System Maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note), MIR (Material Inspection Report), and issuance records in line with company procedures. Update stock registers and ERP system (if applicable) on real-time base. Support project accounts in reconciliation of material consumption vs. budget. Coordination & Compliance Coordinate with Procurement, QA/QC, and Execution teams for timely material availability Comply with KSA customs, logistics, and site-specific regulations for material handling Support periodic stock audits and reconciliation with finance/commercial teams. Provide material status reports to Project Manager and Planning Engineer Safety & Housekeeping Ensure safe handling, lifting, and storage practices for heavy/fragile materials. Keep stores area clean, organized, and compliant with HSE regulations. Conduct toolbox talks for helpers/workers on safe material handling.
