Director, Construction Security
The Construction Security Director will play a critical role in managing security for the clients construction project. The position will be embedded within the Delivery Team and will have a close working relationship with the Security Department. The Director will be responsible for overseeing and managing all security-related activities and issues within the construction environment. They will also work closely with delivery partners to ensure that security strategies and plans are developed, implemented, and maintained throughout the construction process. Key Roles & Responsibilities Material Receipt & Verification Receive all incoming MEP and Civil materials, equipment, and consumables at site stores. Verify quantity, quality, and specifications against delivery notes, purchase orders, and approved material submittals. Check for damages, discrepancies, and expiry; raise inspection requests with QA/QC for approvals. Storage & Preservation Organize proper storage of materials with tagging, segregation, and protection as per manufacturer guidelines. Maintain safe storage conditions for sensitive MEP equipment (e.g., electrical panels, pumps, fire fighting equipment) and Civil materials (cement, steel, tiles, etc.). Ensure materials are preserved to avoid deterioration, moisture, or handling damage. Issuance & Inventory Control Issue materials to site teams only against approved requisitions and maintain proper records. Monitor consumption and maintain minimum stock levels to avoid shortages.
