The electric technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical equipment in a plant setting. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in oil and energy plants. Identify and assess electrical problems and provide solutions. Ensure compliance with safety regulations in the repair and maintenance of equipment. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and identify electrical issues. Inspect and test electrical systems and equipment to ensure proper functioning. Repair and maintain high-voltage electrical systems. Train apprentices and other technicians on proper procedures of electrical systems in the plant. Requirements Associate diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical training. 5 years of experience in maintaining and repairing electrical systems in an oil and energy plant setting. Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety procedures. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Proficiency in using hand and electrical tools. Strong communication skills and ability to work well in teams. Willingness to work overtime and in different shifts when needed.
