Qiddiya Investment Company is poised to redefine entertainment and culture in Saudi Arabia, and we are looking for a visionary Senior Manager - Horticulture to join our talented team. In this role, you will lead the horticultural strategy and management for our expansive landscape projects, ensuring that all green spaces enhance the visitor experience while reflecting our commitment to sustainability and innovation. The Senior Manager - Horticulture will oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of horticultural projects, from selecting plant material to managing ongoing care and sustainability practices. By developing innovative horticulture solutions, you will create engaging environments that contribute positively to the Qiddiya experience. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive horticulture management plan that aligns with the overall landscape vision of Qiddiya. Lead the horticultural team in the selection, planting, and maintenance of flora across various projects and public spaces. Collaborate with landscape architects, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure that plant selections are not only aesthetically pleasing but also environmentally sustainable. Stay updated with the latest horticulture trends and technologies to optimize plant health, biodiversity, and sustainability. Set and manage horticultural budgets, schedules, and work plans for all projects. Conduct regular assessments of plant health and landscape conditions, adjusting management practices as necessary. Educate team members and stakeholders about best practices in horticulture and plant care. Establish strong relationships with local nurseries, suppliers, and environmental organizations. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Botany, Environmental Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. A minimum of 7-10 years relevant experience in horticulture management, with a focus on large-scale landscape projects. In-depth knowledge of plant species, cultivation techniques, pest management, and sustainable landscaping practices. Strong leadership skills with experience in managing a team of horticulturists and landscape technicians. Excellent project management skills, including budget management and scheduling. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to work creatively and innovatively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
