As a Staff Integration Engineer at Sumerge, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and maintaining our integration solutions that power our client's digital transformation. Our ideal candidate possesses exceptional experience in integration patterns, middleware technologies, and API management. You should be proficient in leading projects, providing technical guidance, and mentoring junior engineers. Your ability to communicate technical complexities in a clear and concise manner will enable you to build strong relationships with stakeholders. Responsibilities Design and develop complex integration solutions using IBM Integration Bus (IIB) and other middleware technologies. Lead technical discussions and design reviews to ensure alignment with best practices and design principles. Conduct performance tuning and optimization of existing integrations to improve efficiency and reliability. Collaborate with software development teams to implement best practices and methodologies in integration. Provide mentorship and support to junior integration engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. Engage with clients to gather requirements, understand their business needs, and craft tailored integration strategies. Participate in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring timely delivery of integration solutions. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. 5+ years of experience in integration engineering. In-depth knowledge of integration patterns, middleware technologies, and API development. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset.
