A leading Talent Acquisition Company in Saudi Arabia is excited to announce a vacancy for a Project Engineer - Electrical (Construction) in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership and technical skills required to manage electrical construction activities on various projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that electrical installations are completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. This role requires collaboration with multiple stakeholders including contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate the successful execution of electrical projects. Responsibilities Oversee the electrical construction activities to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of projects. Coordinates with other functional engineers to ensure correct implementation of the project construction specifications and standards Plans, coordinates, and directs the construction work and Construction Subcontractor to meet all construction milestone dates. Coordinate with project managers and other engineering disciplines to maintain project schedules and budgets. Monitor site progress and provide technical direction to contractors for electrical installations. Prepares the construction plan to ensure the efficiency, quality, safety, and performance of construction to meet project objectives. Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with local and international electrical codes and safety regulations. Ensure that all electrical systems are functioning as designed and that commissioning activities are completed efficiently. Mentor and guide junior engineers and site personnel to enhance their technical knowledge. Prepare regular reports on construction progress and electrical installation status for internal and client communications. Requirements BS in Electrical Engineering (Master’s degree preferred). Experience: 10+ years of experience in electrical construction management, especially in the Oil and Gas sector. Familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards and practices is highly advantageous. Must have thorough knowledge of construction practices, economic principles, international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications. Has knowledge in the building and design of substations and its related systems. Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and construction methods. Proficient in reviewing Technical Documentation, including Electrical Drawings, Specifications, and Material Lists. Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of managing a diverse team. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing project requirements. Fluency in English is mandatory, knowledge of Arabic is a plus. Professional certifications such as PMP or equivalent is preferred.
