This role involves both on-site and remote work and targets individuals experienced in F5 product design, configuration, and deployment. You will leverage your analytical skills and technical knowledge to enhance service delivery and support a diverse range of clients. As a consultant, you will possess the confidence, technical expertise, and interpersonal skills needed to lead efforts in delivering exceptional technical solutions, guiding complex troubleshooting, and conducting thorough technology health checks. Responsibilities and Duties: 1.       Enhance your proficiency with F5 products and technologies through continuous self-directed learning and formal training. 2.     Assume technical responsibilities including systems architecture definition, hardware/software specifications, design, implementation, testing, client training, and solution deployment. 3.     Engage in consulting activities such as new installations, migrations, upgrades, configurations, iRules creation, security updates, and troubleshooting across various F5 product engagements. 4.     Identify and capitalize on additional product or service opportunities within client organizations. 5.     Cultivate strong relationships with partners and customers throughout project scoping, work development, delivery, integration, documentation, and follow-up. 6.     Perform basic project management tasks including status reporting, time tracking, and expectation management regarding work product deliverables and associated risks. 7.     Utilize F5 BIG-IP software for automation or orchestration of deployment tasks and architect cloud deployment strategies using related technologies. 8.     Provide engineering expertise focused on application security, with an emphasis on L7 WAF capabilities and strategies to mitigate DoS and BOT attacks.   Please note that this job description represents a general overview of responsibilities and requirements and may be subject to change. Requirements Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Qualifications: 1.     Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience focusing on the architecture and design of network or system infrastructure, including performance and management. 2.     At least 3 years’ experience in customer-facing roles as a consultant or engineer. 3.     Proficient in working with F5 LTM, GTM, DNS, alongside advanced modules like Viprion and iRules for 3 years. 4.     Experience with configuring AFM with IP intelligence (IPI) is essential. 5.     Valid F5 certifications such as 101, 201, 301a, 301b, and 302 or above will be advantageous. 6.     Strong understanding of OSI layers 5 to 7 interactions. 7.     Familiarity with web technologies such as HTTP protocol, SSL certificates, and web server administration, including Apache or Microsoft Internet Information Services.
