We are currently looking for an organized and proactive individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager - Fixed Assets. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the fixed assets of the organization, ensuring accurate records, compliance with accounting standards, and optimization of asset utilization. You will collaborate closely with various departments to maintain accurate asset tracking and reporting. Your work will be pivotal in safeguarding the company’s investments and ensuring proper asset management practices are in place. Responsibilities Manage the fixed asset ledger and ensure accurate recording of asset acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation. Assist in the development and implementation of fixed asset policies and procedures. Conduct regular audits of fixed assets to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Collaborate with finance and operational teams to optimize asset utilization and lifecycle management. Prepare detailed reports on fixed asset performance and provide insights for decision-making. Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits regarding fixed assets. Stay updated on regulations and best practices related to fixed asset management. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in fixed asset management or accounting Strong understanding of fixed asset accounting principles and practices Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
