PMO Specialist – Job Brief Master-Works, a forward-thinking technology consultancy, is seeking a skilled PMO Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management methodologies and PMO best practices. This role involves overseeing project governance, ensuring compliance with standards, and driving continuous improvement in project delivery processes across the organization. Key Responsibilities Establish, maintain, and optimize PMO standards, processes, and documentation to support effective project governance Facilitate project portfolio management, including prioritization, resource allocation, and risk management Monitor project performance and ensure adherence to PMO policies, procedures, and best practices Conduct project audits and assessments to identify gaps and recommend improvements Provide mentorship and guidance to project managers and teams, fostering continuous learning and capability building Collaborate with senior leadership to align project management practices with organizational goals and strategies Analyze project metrics, generate insights, and recommend actions to enhance project delivery and success rates Develop and deliver PMO training sessions and workshops to uplift project management skills across the organization Requirements Requirements and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field 3–5 years of experience in project management or PMO roles, preferably in a fast-paced environment Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA) and MS Office Suite PMP or other PMO-related certifications are highly preferred Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills Strong communication and presentation abilities, with experience engaging stakeholders at all levels Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex project data and make data-driven decisions.
