Virtualization Technologies: Proficient with VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Nutanix AHV (Acropolis Hypervisor). Networking: Knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN), network architecture, and configuration within Nutanix environments. Storage Management: Strong grasp of storage concepts, including SAN, NAS, iSCSI, and NFS, as well as Nutanix storage features like Volumes, Files, and Objects. Backup and Disaster Recovery: Experience with backup solutions and disaster recovery planning, including Nutanix's native DR tools (Xi Leap, Metro Availability). Automation and Scripting: Proficiency in automation using PowerShell, Python, Nutanix Calm, and other scripting tools for streamlining operations. Automation and Nutanix DBaaS: Proficiency in Managing Nutanix DBaaS, · Perform day-to-day database administration tasks including installation, configuration, upgrades, monitoring, and backups. · Automate database deployment, patching, cloning, and scaling activities. · Implement and manage high-availability and disaster recovery solutions. · Participate in capacity planning and performance tuning initiatives. · Provide RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and resolution for database incidents and problems. · Develop and maintain documentation, including SOPs, standards, and diagrams. Cloud Integration: Familiarity with hybrid cloud setups and integration of Nutanix with public cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Security: Knowledge of security best practices within Nutanix environments, including data encryption, network segmentation, and multi-factor authentication. Consulting and Soft Skills Customer Relationship Management: Strong ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, understanding their business needs, and delivering tailored solutions. Problem-Solving: Expertise in diagnosing complex issues within Nutanix environments and providing effective solutions. Project Management: Experience in managing end-to-end implementation projects, including planning, execution, and post-implementation support. Documentation: Ability to create detailed technical documentation, including design documents, runbooks, and operation guides.
