About the Company: Segadty is one of the leading brands under Alkaffary Group, currently experiencing significant growth in the digital retail space. As part of the group's broader digital transformation, we operate through platforms like Zid and Salla, with a strong focus on operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making. In light of this growth, we are expanding our finance team to support the brand’s continued success and ensure strong financial performance and transparency. Role Summary: We are seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations and support the growing needs of our e-commerce business. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in online accounting systems and who understands the financial workflows of digital retail operations. NOTE : If you have previous experience working with e-commerce platforms, please include a brief summary explaining the reconciliation process between the payment gateway and the e-commerce store you worked with in the COVER LETTER SECTION. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily journal entries, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable. Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Analyze order profitability and product-level margins based on data from online platforms. Review supplier invoices and e-invoices issued through the online store. Track and validate cost of goods sold (COGS) using inventory data from Zid and Salla. Coordinate with marketing and operations to produce financial performance reports and business insights. Reconcile payment gateway reports (e.g., Tabby, Tamara, credit cards, bank transfers) with accounting records. Ensure alignment between warehouse stock movement and financial reporting. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably within a company that operates an e-commerce store or digital retail business. Prior exposure to online platforms such as Zid, Salla, Shopify, or WooCommerce is highly preferred. Familiarity with accounting systems like Daftra, Odoo, or QuickBooks with proven ability to reconcile online orders, returns, and shipping transactions. Strong understanding of order fulfillment cycles, payment gateways (e.g., Tabby, Tamara, Mada), and COD accounting treatment. Solid grasp of inventory accounting, COGS tracking, and revenue recognition principles in a digital commerce context. Working knowledge of Saudi e-invoicing (فاتورة) regulations, ZATCA VAT compliance, and dealing with POS systems. Comfortable using task management tools like ClickUp, Asana, or Notion for documenting workflows and reporting. Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to extract actionable financial insights from e-commerce dashboards and ERP integrations. Bonus: Experience with industries such as perfumes, cosmetics, furniture, or carpets is a plus.
