The Senior Manager of IT Assets & Infrastructure Operations is responsible for leading the strategic planning, execution, and governance of IT infrastructure and asset management across the organization. This role ensures the availability, performance, and lifecycle optimization of all infrastructure components, while maintaining compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. It is a key leadership position focused on maximizing IT asset value, driving operational excellence, and enabling scalable infrastructure growth. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and execution of the strategic vision for IT infrastructure and asset operations, aligned with business and digital transformation objectives. Establish governance frameworks and operational standards for infrastructure and asset lifecycle management. Ensure compliance with IT policies, cybersecurity protocols, audit requirements, and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, NCA). Oversee the performance, availability, and health of enterprise infrastructure including servers, storage, data centers, and hybrid/cloud environments. Drive infrastructure capacity planning, technology refresh initiatives, and business continuity/disaster recovery (BCP/DR) readiness. Promote automation, monitoring, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and resilience. Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets—from procurement and deployment to maintenance and decommissioning. Ensure integrity of asset data across systems (e.g., CMDB, ITAM tools) and support internal/external audits. Enforce policies to control asset sprawl, ensure license compliance, and optimize cost-efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including service delivery, networking, applications, cybersecurity, procurement, and finance. Represent infrastructure and asset functions in executive meetings and project governance boards. Lead and develop a high-performing team of managers, engineers, and specialists across infrastructure and asset domains. Set clear objectives, measure team performance, and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Oversee vendor relationships, including contracts for hardware, software, and infrastructure services. Define and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to track service availability, asset utilization, and operational performance. Champion cost optimization, asset rationalization, and sustainability initiatives. Deliver regular executive-level reports and strategic recommendations. Requirements Holds a bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field 7+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure and asset management Preferred certifications include ITIL® 4 Managing Professional, PMP/PRINCE2, COBIT, ISO/IEC 20000, and technical credentials in platforms like VMware, Nutanix, Dell EMC, or Cisco. Expertise in IT infrastructure technologies, asset management tools (e.g., CMDB, ITAM), and best practices in operational governance, automation, and resiliency.
